STATEMENT OF FAITH
At New Life Restoration Ministries Int’l , we affirm our commitment to the foundational truths of the Christian faith. We believe in the following:
The Nature of God
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14). God is the Creator of all things, loving, just, and sovereign.
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the Living God, fully divine and fully human. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, and rose again on the third day (John 1:14; Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:4). He is our only Savior from sin and our Lord..
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift of grace received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not based on our works but on His finished work on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 10:9-10). All who repent and place their faith in Christ are saved.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit is active in the world today, guiding, empowering, and comforting believers. The Holy Spirit indwells every Christian, producing spiritual fruit and distributing spiritual gifts for the edification of the church (John 14:26; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:22-23).
The Church
We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20). The Church is a community of believers committed to worship, fellowship, and service.
Baptism and Communion
We believe in water baptism by immersion as an outward expression of an inward faith, symbolizing the believer’s identification with Christ (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38). We also celebrate Communion as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a proclamation of His death until He returns (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
The Second Coming
We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ to establish His Kingdom. His return is our hope, motivating us to live faithfully and share His love with the world (Acts 1:11; Revelation 22:12).
Eternal Life
We believe in the resurrection of all people, leading to eternal life for believers and eternal separation from God for those who reject Him (John 5:28-29; Revelation 20:11-15)
Stewardship and Generosity
We believe that tithing and offerings are essential aspects of our worship, reflecting our trust in God’s provision and our commitment to His work (Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:6-8).
Unity in Diversity
We believe in the importance of unity among believers, embracing diversity as a reflection of God’s creativity and purpose in the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:3; 1 Corinthians 12:12-14).
